Two decades of Oregon roots

Where the practice began

Dramov Naturopathic Medical Center is a Tualatin practice at its roots. Dr. Rob Dramov trained at Bastyr University — the Pacific Northwest’s leading naturopathic medical school — after earning a microbiology degree at Washington State University, and he has cared for Oregon patients here for more than two decades, from an office in the heart of town.

That history matters in practical ways. It means a physician who knows Oregon’s naturopathic landscape — the labs, the compounding pharmacies, the insurance rules — and a patient community that stretches from Tualatin and Sherwood to Lake Oswego and southwest Portland, built through years of care. The practice has since grown to a second clinic out of state, but nothing about the Tualatin standard changed: thorough testing, root-cause diagnosis, natural treatment, and results you can measure.

Dr. Dramov is licensed in Oregon, Arizona, and California, and splits his practice between the two clinics with telemedicine holding continuity in between. Read his full story or learn about the Diagnose → Treat → Optimize approach both clinics share.

Care available in Tualatin

What we treat at the Tualatin clinic

The same physician-led hormone and whole-person medicine the practice is known for — in person on SW Martinazzi Avenue, or by telemedicine anywhere in Oregon.

Hormonal health

Declining estrogen, progesterone, and testosterone drive the hot flashes, sleep disturbances, mood changes, and weight gain that get dismissed as “just aging.” We test thoroughly and restore levels naturally — for women and men.

Thyroid & autoimmune

Your thyroid controls metabolism, temperature, and energy — yet standard screening often stops at TSH. We run full panels, including the antibody testing that reveals Hashimoto’s disease, and treat the immune process behind it.

Energy & resilience

Chronic stress rewires your body’s chemistry. When exhaustion, poor sleep, and burnout become your baseline, we investigate adrenal function, nutrients, and hormones together to find out why — then rebuild from the foundation.

Treatment plans draw on bioidentical hormone therapy for women and men, testosterone replacement, and hormone pellet therapybrowse all conditions or explore all services.

The local difference

Why southwest-metro patients choose Dramov

Two decades in the same community

Dr. Dramov has cared for southwest-metro patients since the practice began in Tualatin — the same physician year after year, treating families from Tigard and Sherwood to Lake Oswego and Wilsonville. Not a franchise, not a rotating cast of providers.

Insurance, handled the Oregon way

Oregon treats naturopathic medicine differently than almost any other state: licensed NDs can credential with insurers as primary-care providers, and many Oregon commercial plans cover naturopathic office visits. Coverage varies by plan, so call us To be straightforward about our own practice: we are not currently in-network with any plan and we do not bill insurers directly. We provide a detailed billing summary you can submit for possible reimbursement, depending on your plan’s rules. Our FAQs cover how appointments and billing work.

Care that reaches all of Oregon

Full Oregon licensure means telemedicine visits are available statewide — many patients pair in-person appointments on Martinazzi Avenue with virtual follow-ups and lab reviews, and patients well beyond the metro get the same standard of care from home.

A couple relaxing together in a sunlit park

I have been a patient for many years. He is very knowledgeable and has a great personality. I had lightheadedness for 9 months and he is the only Doctor that kept fighting to figure it out and really listened to me during that time. He thinks outside the box all the time.

Getting here

Easy to reach from across the southwest metro

The clinic sits in central Tualatin, in the Tualatin Commons district on SW Martinazzi Avenue — just off Interstate 5 at the Nyberg Street exit, around the corner from the Fred Meyer shopping center and minutes from Legacy Meridian Park Medical Center. If you know the lake at Tualatin Commons, you know where to find us.

That location was no accident: it puts the practice within a short, predictable drive of nearly every community on the southwest side — no downtown Portland traffic, no parking garages. Every town we regularly see patients from is inside about fifteen minutes, and each has its own page below with the route, the drive, and what people from that area typically come in for.

Can’t make the drive? Dr. Dramov holds a full Oregon license, so telemedicine visits are available to patients anywhere in the state — from Beaverton and Hillsboro to Salem and beyond, many patients pair in-person appointments with virtual follow-ups and lab reviews.

Questions, answered

Tualatin clinic FAQs

Does insurance cover naturopathic visits in Oregon?

Oregon is one of the strongest states in the country for naturopathic coverage: state law allows licensed naturopathic physicians to credential with insurers as primary-care providers, and many Oregon commercial plans cover visits with an ND. To be straightforward about our own practice: we are not currently in-network with any plan and we do not bill insurers directly. We provide a detailed billing summary you can submit for possible reimbursement, depending on your plan’s rules.

Can a naturopathic doctor serve as my primary care physician in Oregon?

Oregon licenses naturopathic physicians to practice as primary-care providers, and state law allows them to credential with commercial insurers in that role. Whether that arrangement fits your situation depends on your insurance and your health needs — it’s a good question to bring to your free discovery call.

Do you offer telemedicine for Oregon patients?

Yes. Dr. Dramov is licensed in Oregon, so patients anywhere in the state can book telemedicine visits — helpful for follow-ups, lab reviews, and patients outside the Portland metro. Some services, like physical exams and in-office therapies, still require an in-person visit to the Tualatin clinic.

Do you see patients from Portland and the surrounding suburbs?

Yes — the Tualatin clinic sits just off I-5 at the Nyberg Street exit, which keeps it an easy drive from Tigard, Lake Oswego, Sherwood, Wilsonville, King City, and southwest Portland. Many patients combine in-person visits with telemedicine follow-ups.
