Meet Dr. Rob Dramov, NMD

A Bastyr-trained naturopathic medical doctor with a microbiology background and 23+ years of clinical practice — helping motivated adults regain their energy, focus, and hormonal balance so they can feel and look their best.

Rob Dramov, NMD is a naturopathic medical doctor licensed in Arizona, California, and Oregon. He uses modern diagnostic techniques in the field of naturopathic medicine to diagnose and effectively treat the root causes of disease and illness — offering both tailored general care and regenerative medicine procedures to help patients achieve optimal health and self-confidence.

Science-first training, natural-first practice

Dr. Dramov attended Washington State University, majoring in microbiology — a laboratory-science foundation that still shapes how he practices: test properly, read the data carefully, and treat what the results actually show. He went on to earn his Naturopathic Doctorate from Bastyr University in Seattle, a leading naturopathic medical school, where he focused on scientific research and natural medicine.

That combination — rigorous diagnostics plus natural therapeutics — is the backbone of everything we do at Dramov Naturopathic Medical Center. It’s why appointments run a full 60 minutes, why lab panels go beyond the standard screen, and why treatment plans are matched to your results rather than a template.

From the Pacific Northwest to the Sonoran Desert

Raised in the Pacific Northwest, Dr. Dramov built one of the Portland area’s most trusted naturopathic practices — the Oregon clinic that continues to serve patients today. He later relocated to Arizona to open a second clinic, bringing the same root-cause approach with him. Today he cares for patients at both clinics, in the conditions his practice is known for: thyroid disorders, gastrointestinal issues, neurological conditions, and hormone deficiencies.

“First and foremost, I am a teacher”

Ask Dr. Dramov what he does, and he won’t start with prescriptions. In his own words, from his letter to patients:

“First and foremost, I am a teacher. And like any teacher-student relationship, the end result always comes down to the student wanting to learn. No one can make you want to live a healthy and disease-free life. Therefore, I will always do my best to empower you to take responsibility for your own health and wellness through education, encouragement, and motivation from results you will see and feel.”

— Dr. Rob Dramov, from his letter to patients

His clinical philosophy follows from that: naturopathic medicine is based on the body’s powerful inherent ability to establish, maintain, and restore health. The physician’s role is to facilitate that process — identify and remove the obstacles unique to your body, and help create a healthy support environment inside and out. Safe, non-invasive natural therapies come first after diagnosis; masking symptoms without finding causes is avoided. And the best treatment of all is prevention — there’s a huge difference between “not being sick” and optimum health.
